![]() ![]() If strict filtering is enabled it seems the Microsoft Store can't connect to the internet and no dialog is displayed to allow it through the firewall. Now I don't really need something like this on my gaming PC but as I'm fairly interested in such things by nature I thought I would give it a whirl and it run fairly straightforward aside from two issues: It allows for the Windows Firewall to block all outbound traffic for programs by default and then shows a dialog asking for permission. In that context I came across the app Windows Firewall Control by Malwarebytes: ![]() ![]() I'm currently running the Windows 11 Developer Preview on a separate SSD on my gaming PC and as it's a testing OS at the current state anyhow I decided I would try out a few things I otherwise wouldn't. ![]()
